Day 1: Athens

Pack your bags, you are off to Greece!

Day 2: Athens

Welcome to Athens! Upon arrival at Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport, you will be greeted by your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative, who will drive you to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of your day exploring Athens. You might stroll the old neighborhoods of Plaka, which mingle old & new Athens or explore the vibrant neighborhoods of Monastiraki and Kolonaki. Be sure to try our amazing restaurant recommendations sampling wonderful Greek cuisine.

Day 3: Athens (B) 

After breakfast, your day will begin with your private half day walking tour. Along with your English-speaking licensed guide, you will visit the Acropolis and the awesome temples of the Parthenon, the Erectheion and the Athena Nike. Your walk will continue to the Areopagus, or Hill of Mars. Finally, you pass the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, where you can still enjoy concerts and theatrical performances in the summer months. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Acropolis Museum exhibiting the glory of Ancient Athens.

Day 4: Athens – Spetses (B)

After breakfast, your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative, will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the port for your short ferry ride to Spetses. Spetses is renowned for its no car policy and for its quaint and sophisticated charm. Enjoy the remainder of the day walking around Dapia, the main center of town, where you can stroll through the town, enjoying the cobblestoned main square, where the concentration of bars and restaurants are concentrated. Spetses is also known for many of the well-maintained mansions located along the narrow streets in and around Dapia. Consider dinner at one of our recommended restaurants while enjoying the vibe of this quintessential Greek Island. There are no cars on this heavenly island, and so the best way to reach the Old Harbor is by horse buggy.

Day 5: Spetses (B) 

While in Spetses, consider a visit to the Spetses museum or the Anargyros mansion. You might also consider a visit to the monastery of Agios Nikolaos. Agios Nikolaos is the patron saint of sailors. You might consider doing a quick sail one of our favorite Greek islands in the form of Hydra. Hydra is the island that everyone has heard of – but no one has been to. Spend some time wandering the quaint cobbled streets, strolling the harbor and enjoying some appetizers and ouzo like a local before returning to Spetses.

Day 6: Spetses (B) 

For your last day in Spetses, consider an adventurous hiking or biking activity. For a full day excursion, follow the coastal road, giving you an almost 360° view of the island’s coastline as well as commanding vistas of the entire Argo Saronic Gulf. Several off-road trails of varying difficulty are also available, weaving their way into the heart of Spetses. Be sure to try our amazing restaurant recommendations.

Day 7: Spetses – Porto Heli (B)

Goodbye Spetses, Hello Porto Heli! After breakfast, your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative will drive you to the port for a super quick ferry to Porto Heli. Located in southern Greece along the coast of the Aegean Sea, Porto Heli is a small seaside town with beautiful sandy beaches and world-class luxury resorts. Surely you will be charmed by the beauty of Porto Heli and Spetses.

Day 8: Porto Heli (B)

After breakfast, consider visiting some of the beautiful beaches in the area, including an organized stretch with crystal-clear waters right inside the bay of Porto Heli. This long sandy stretch is popular for water sports with many tavernas, restaurants and cafes nearby. Stunning Chinitsa Beach is blue flag-awarded and is just a few miles south of town, while Ververoda Bay is just northwest of Porto Heli, surrounded by shady pine trees and framed with aquamarine-hued waters ideal for surfing.

Day 9: Porto Heli (B) 

For your last day in Porto Heli, we recommend sprinkling a dose of some local history Consider a one-day private tour of Mycenae, and a visit to the ancient sanctuary of Asklepios at Epidaurus, just a short drive away. What better way to end your stay in Greece, by dining at one of the local restaurants we recommend with one of those great Porto Heli sunsets.

Day 10: Porto Heli – Athens – Home

Your Hellenic Holidays transfer representative will drive you to the port for your ferry ride to Piraeus (Athens) connecting to your flight home.
